The sudden death of the great Uitara left Ta Haa - his only son - and his wife alone and shattered. Even the skies would mourn for three days and three nights as the innocent blood of a priestly line cried it’s last from the earth.

But there was little time to mourn, as the old wise prophet (whom most thought as mad) bought even more fateful news to the grieving survivors. A vision had come to him showing the death of one seed and a field destroyed. This was a sign that the seed of Uitara, Te Haa, was to be cut off from the land of the living... forever.

Together, led by the prophet, they stole away into the dead of night toward the rising sun, but would freedom await them there? And what trials and tribulations would befall them before they could reach a place of refuge?
